WIRED
The project aims to create a light, joyful atmosphere for the activity of border crossing, which is normally seen as dreadful and boring.
Passing the border means going through security control, documents check and more, is both a physical and mental stress.
This project rethinks about the traditional border patrol facility and creates a mixed commercial space and playful walking path.

Wired is designed focusing on pedestrian crossing, since everyday over 1.5 K people cross the border in the Bridge of the Americas connecting El Paso and Ciudad Juarez.
The idea is to change the commuters' daily routes and make it more enjoyable.
The solution was to integrate a hybrid architecture between traditional and innovative structures. Wired will connect two countries and people in a unique way, making crossing the border and experience you want to have.
